This morning, quite early, I came to the realization that Emily would be home with me today. She is currently coughing and sneezing and sniffling so much that I would feel extremely guilty sharing those germs with other Preschool children. Though some of them have been kind enough to share with us.

But perhaps the best moment of my morning came when Emily confided in me where she had gotten "her cough". In only the way that Emily can, she proclaimed "it was from the chocolate doughnuts and Sarah." I told her the doughnuts were fine, but Sarah was probably a good suspect and she looked at me like I was the crazy one. Ok then, doughnuts it is! No sense agruing with a four year old that will tell her Grandma that Emily is the boss of Emily's house when Mom is not home.
