Another illness week at the Leschs. First Emmy got pink eye. And I imagine there were others at Preschool that got it, considering they had vision and hearing tests on Monday. Paulie has also been exposed to it at school, so we'll wait and see on him. And Meg ended up with some stomach ailment yesterday. Not sure what that was and hoping it only stayed with her.
As for the rest of our week, life is good at the ranch. Had conferences for the older three. All good. All doing great. Meg has really picked up her long division. Her teacher said he can tell that she's ready to help others in the class with it. So unlike her Mom. I'm so proud of her. Speaking of Meg, big news on the 10 year old front. She is attending two basketball camps this summer and is considering moving up to traveling basketball. It means more for her parents, but I am totally willing to do that to watch her play and be coached by a real basketball coach. Nothing against the volunteers (I admire them tremendously), but if she wants to make a go of it, she should be coached by coaches of the sport.
Otherwise, things have been quiet here. Not much too report. Emily was a trooper with those drops. But didn't get the concept at first. She told me that when I put those drops in their eyes, it hurts, so could I just put them on her cheek. :) But after awhile and a few ways to try to get them in, we settled on one way to do it and it works. Also, when we were coloring on Tuesday, she gave Snoopy pink eye too.
With all my reality shows back in full swing, I feel it necessary to post here who my favorites are: American Idol....Colton, Amazing Race....Bopper and Mark, Survivor (haven't watched it this week yet) but there are a few ladies I'm hoping for and a few men I hope go down in flames, Celebrity Apprentice (haven't watched last Sunday yet) but I kinda like Adam Carolla and George Takei. Kinda likin' the Paul Sr. too.
Have a great weekend everyone!
