Nothing much new to report this week. Which is great news!!!!! We've dealt with so much that I'm glad to have a quiet week. The biggest excitement we've had here is that Emily brought home a plastic egg from Preschool. Her teachers told her to put it under her pillow for one night and in the morning it would hatch. So, she did exactly what she was told (clearly listening to teachers is ok, but not listening to Mom) and put the egg under her pillow.

In the morning, she stomped out with it wrapped in her bee-bee and said it didn't hatch. And I said remember that Ms. Rauner said we would have to help the egg open. So, we did. And what we found was a small plastic dinosaur. They had been talking about dinosaurs at school. Very cute. She's been taking care of it. Hasn't come up with a name yet, but I imagine it will have a Transformers theme to it.

Speaking of Transformers, Emily was very excited yesterday to buy a two pack of new toothbrushes. One brush has Optimus Prime on it and the other is, of course, Bumblebee. A few weeks ago, she told us to start calling her Emblebee. I think she might like the Transformers. Just a thought. Also informed me yesterday (for the 100th time) that she would like a Bumblebee birthday cake. That's gonna take some planning. Let's hope the dog doesn't enjoy that one.

In other news, Meg is doing much better. After our trip to the ER for the amoxicillan allergy, things have quieted down nicely. She has moved on to her seasonal allergies and has started her Claritin and her inhaler when needed.

Paulie picked out new glasses this week and should be here before Easter. Eyes really changed this time. Daddy also picked out new glasses. Mommy will be next. As I realized last night watching basketball that Kansas actually played tonight and not last night.

Speaking of basketball, we're all having good fun here. The older two kids are playing brackets with myself and their Grandpa Bracher. We all consider it a major success to just be higher than him in the standings. I, myself, might have a dilemma coming. What if North Carolina and Kansas have to play????? What will I do? Who will I cheer for? These are things that keep me awake at night :)

Well, better get myself moving and help Sarah with her spelling words. "Help" being the operative word there. That child can spell, read, write better than me. She is destined for greatness. Let's just hope she really does become a "baby doctor" like she wants to. She'd be great!!!

Have a great week!
